Program of Conferences
Past Conferences
ANSIE now organizes conferences every year, normally in the summer. In-person conferences alternate with virtual, online conferences. The next conference, in 2027, will be online.
As ANSIE is affiliated to ESSWE, the European Society for the Study of Western Esotericism, ANSIE also organises panels for ESSWE's biannual conferences, and sometimes holds a meeting in association with the ESSWE meeting.
ANSIE was previously known as ENSIE, the European Network for the Study of Islam and Esotericism. The name was changed in 2026 to reflect the way that the network was evolving beyond its European origins.
